Our Curriculum

At Bright Beginnings we utilize a child centered approach with an emphasis on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) allowing kids to learn through structured play and hands on activities that help foster creative thinking and problem solving skills.

MATH

In our program we use the Math Is Everywhere concept. A flexible, activity based curriculum designed to help preschool teachers integrate mathematics into their teaching. This curriculum has been shown to increase children's achievement and interest in mathematics.

SCIENCE

For children to make the connections and develop logical thinking, they must  discover, wonder and question, using their own senses.  With the right guidance, tools and materials young children learn the skills that prepare them for a lifetime of learning and discovery.

READING

Children are like sponges. Every day they learn skills that help them become readers. Infants, toddlers, and preschoolers become aware of books and print and learn about sounds and letters. Preschool educators play a critical role in promoting literacy and preparing young children for kindergarten.

SOCIAL SKILLS

Social skills go hand in hand with development, and can help your child succeed later in life.  Teaching children life skills is not only important for self-care and sufficiency it also allows him to feel empowered, works on socialization and reasoning, and helps develop healthy self-esteem.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Physical activities promotes healthy growth and development. It helps build a healthier body composition, stronger bones and muscles. It also improves the child’s cardiovascular fitness. Physical activities helps in the development of better motor skills and in concentration and thinking skills.

CREATIVE ARTS

Art helps children with their self-confidence as they take ownership of something they created on their own. Arts and crafts also help children learn problem solving and patience while helping them develop their fine motor skills and creativity.
